About The Organization
Guillain Barré Syndrome (GBS) and Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP) are two of neurology's most mystical diseases. As the founder of GBS/CIDP Global I am also a GBS survivor that has based a mission in my life focusing on educating the world about these two life altering diseases. In 2016 I went to bed with a dysfunctional feeling in my fingers not knowing that within 24 hours I would find myself 100% paralyzed head to toe and on a ventilator fighting for my life in a battle with Guillain Barré Syndrome. My life was flipped upside down when my condition left me hospitalized for over 15 months. Still partially paralyzed today, I have made a stand to assist with deeper research of these diseases, supporting those effected by these diseases, and promoting awareness of these diseases across the globe!! The increase in knowledge, the experienced support, and the boost in awareness could very well save lives! Please support us today and together we will make a difference!!
